Online Event Terms and Conditions

Registration and Payment

Registration is confirmed upon receipt of payment. Access details for the online event will be provided prior to the event using the email address supplied during registration.

Participants are responsible for ensuring their registration details are accurate and up to date.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations received at least seven (7) days prior to the event will receive a full refund.

Cancellations received within seven (7) days of the event are non-refundable. However, registrations may be transferred to another person or transferred to a future Ethical Governance event at the discretion of Ethical Governance.

Requests for cancellations or transfers must be submitted in writing to Ethical Governance.

Event Access and Technology Requirements

Participants are responsible for ensuring they have access to a suitable internet connection, device, audio capability and any software required to participate in the event.

Ethical Governance is not responsible for technical issues arising from a participant’s equipment, internet connection or software configuration.

Recording and Materials

Where applicable, online events may be recorded. By registering for the event, participants acknowledge that their participation may be included in the recording.

Presentation materials, recordings and supporting resources provided during or after the event are for personal professional development purposes only and must not be reproduced, distributed, published or shared without prior written permission from Ethical Governance.

Intellectual Property

All event content, including presentations, materials, frameworks, models, tools and resources, remains the intellectual property of Ethical Governance unless otherwise stated.

Participation in an event does not grant any licence or right to reproduce, commercialise or distribute any event content.

Participant Conduct

Ethical Governance is committed to providing a professional, respectful and inclusive learning environment.

Participants are expected to engage respectfully with presenters and fellow attendees. Ethical Governance reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is disruptive, inappropriate or inconsistent with the purpose of the event. No refund will be provided in such circumstances.

Event Changes and Cancellation

Ethical Governance reserves the right to make reasonable changes to event content, presenters, schedules or delivery format where necessary.

If an event is cancelled or postponed by Ethical Governance, participants will be offered the option of a full refund or transfer of registration to a future event.

Limitation of Liability

Event content is provided for educational and professional development purposes only. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy and relevance of information presented, Ethical Governance does not warrant that event content is complete, current or suitable for every participant’s circumstances.

To the extent permitted by law, Ethical Governance accepts no liability for any loss, damage or claim arising from participation in the event or reliance on information provided during the event.

Privacy

Personal information collected during registration will be handled in accordance with Ethical Governance’s Privacy Policy and used for the administration of the event and related communications.
